You just made the possible amputation of your right hand from lack of blood flow on a long ride go away. Excellent product, I too ordered the heavies. The Labels they give you will get kind of gummy after a while, so you will have to discover your own cure for that.

Don't forget the loctite. I just used the two washers as I found that I had to turn the Throttlemeister too far at speed and with just the two washers I only have to turn it about 1/4 turn or less to stick the throttle.

Doing this with the right hand can be a learning experience. I stick mine, adjust the speed, and then crank it down tight. I use a tall tank bag so reaching across is not an option for me.

Great product, worth the bux...

Dave, What label's are you refering to? Also I found it easier to set

the throttlemeister snug and then adjust the throttle. When it's perfect

I tighten it just a little more.

The labels were very tiny strips of printing. One said throttlemeister and the other two said on and off.

You might have thrown them away they were only about 1/8" or maybe 3/16" high by 1/2" or so for the on and off depending on where you cut them off. The Throttlemeitster word was about an inch long. They were inside the packing material for the bar end without the sticking mechanism. You didn't throw them away did you ?

Cool, looking forward to getting mine. My wife is bitching, it seems every month I'm ordering something new for the beast. My "male penile extension", as she calls it, deserves the attention. I told her my wrist is getting worse and worse, and oh shit, I left myself wide open for the comeback. Can't argue with women, to hell with it I'm going riding.

I guess I did trash them, I don't remember seeing 'em. I wouldn't have

used them anyway.

My wife hate's that I buy so much for my 12. She thought that it would

end sooner or later, but I can't see the end. There are just too many

How does one include a picture in these postings ? Haven't figured it out yet. I have the completed install with Helibars as well . .....Sorry I don't have a host to display the install of Throttlemeister and Helbars. Seems like that would be a nice upgrade to the board, to just be able to paste a picture into the post. Or something less harmfull to server speed.

Well if you have a host, you just find the URL and use [] these bracket's

with img inside at the beginning of the URL. Then use the same bracket's

with /img inside at the end of the URL. Good Luck finding a host.

They're my next purchase. I am way tired of manually holding the throttle on boring interstate rides....

Also, I was wondering about that - why would one pick the long ones over the short, or vice versa?

Thanks.

Found this on the general discussions section

I should have done this a long time ago.

Please post any information about hosts that will allow you to store your pictures on the internet. You will need to find a host for your pictures so you can link to them in EZboard. Once you have your pictures on the hosts website you can right click and select properties to find the URL (address for the picture). You then need to use the correct EZboard codes around that address in your message to make the picture appear.

If you look to your left when you are entering in your message you will see a section titled "How To" Under that you will see "Post A Link" and "Post An Email" Click on "Post a Link" and scroll down a bit until you see "How to Make an Image within a Post" follow the instructions.

Basically you need to do the following {image}www.picturehostwebsitename.com/yourpicURL.jpg{/image} except you replace the { and } with the same direction square brackets. If I used the square brackets (same key without the shift key being held down) EZboard would think I was trying to post a picture and would not show the text.

When you post the names of picture hosting websites please enter the following information if you have it:

- the website link to the picture Host

- Is the Host free? If not how much?

- Is there a limit to how many pictures can be hosted, if so how much?

- Can the pictures be linked to and viewed outside of the Hosts website, some places like Imagestation seem to be limiting this for the free services.

Thank you, and lets try to keep this thread updated with new information.

Just ordered a throttlemeister for my 12, never owned one of these before, on any of my previous bikes. But I'm planning some long trips this summer, you know before ole' sarge is deployed to Saudi Arabia this July. After about 2 hours of riding my wrist is shit, normal I guess, but shit if there's something out there thatwill help I'll try it.

If you don't like it please lie to me, I already ordered it!

They look good, and work great. It may take you a couple of try's to

figure out how many washer's to use on the throttle side, but it's a really

simple install.

Thanks bro, I ordered the large one, polished of course. Do they vibrate or cause any vibrations in any way?
