Please check out and add your name to the list of the ZX-12R Clutch petition.

Many people particularly with 00/01 ZX-12R's have had problems with their clutches. Mostly with lack of lubrication which can lead to a number of failures, burned/warped plates etc. In some cases when drag racing people have had their baskets explode.
Personally I do not feel that Kawasaki should be responsible for making their clutches drag racing proof, but certainly with the power that was intended for the bike it should be able to handle a few large launches.
My clutch is fine at this point after almost 3 seasons of riding, but I don't drag often.
We may have enough people to make a difference. Bikeland and other sites are pointing to this Petition as well.
