I have my 02 in the second hole of Spencers links. I also have the front forks 3/4" lower in the triple clamp. Since changing over to the 180/55
rear I'm hitting my boots on both sides in the twisties....

Just wondering if anyone else is hitting their pegs or boots like this...

I will have to raise mine back to the first hole, as it is a bit unsettling
to hit like that...

I believe that is considered a 1" drop with the 2nd hole being 2",
although mine was not lowered that much

I was scraping every now and then with the 200 on,
but with this 180/55 my lean angle is greatly improved over
stock, and I need some clearance....

I guess my short ass will be back to tippy toes

Using this pic as reference, you can see even at the stock height there is only a couple inches to spare, time to raise her up a little....

For me it just took a little getting used to a new riding style, when cornering hard I havr to ride more on the ball of my boots and
steer(more) with my knees pressing against the tank now... but
even then, it seems that the toes are getting ground down alittle...
hehehe

Hey Mark-PMB, Don't raise it too high, you know your little feets won't touch the ground.

I likes the corners, it handles fine like it is, theres just not enuff clearance

Going up one notch, I'll see how that feels....

Iv'e nailed my toes before too..not fun. I did it on my Triumph Daytona and thought I busted it. Usualy my toes are on the pegs and pretty much out of the way but that time I shifted mid corner....DAH!!

Only problem with the Muzzy is that if I put my toe on the peg, my heel hits the pipe

Over 1" I'm not so sure about...
