I have my 02 in the second hole of Spencers links. I also have the front forks 3/4" lower in the triple clamp. Since changing over to the 180/55
rear I'm hitting my boots on both sides in the twisties....
Just wondering if anyone else is hitting their pegs or boots like this...
I will have to raise mine back to the first hole, as it is a bit unsettling
to hit like that...
I believe that is considered a 1" drop with the 2nd hole being 2",
although mine was not lowered that much
For me it just took a little getting used to a new riding style, when cornering hard I havr to ride more on the ball of my boots and
steer(more) with my knees pressing against the tank now... but
even then, it seems that the toes are getting ground down alittle...
hehehe
Iv'e nailed my toes before too..not fun. I did it on my Triumph Daytona and thought I busted it. Usualy my toes are on the pegs and pretty much out of the way but that time I shifted mid corner....DAH!!
 SOLUTION.....WHEN ROY AND MARK RETURN,THEY WILL HAVE IN THIER POSSESION MY TREASURED PAIR OR 70'S PLATFORM DISCO ZIPPER BOOTS (4 INCH RISE) YOU CAN THEN RAISE YOUR BIKE TO ITS FACTORY HEIGHT. - CW
