When I find something that sux I tell you all. Well I've found something that work's awesome,

Meguiar's Quik Detailer Mist & Wipe Is awesome.

After a ride to work on third shif I get bug's galore. Well when I use Honda spray polish and cleaner, It leave's the PMB looking dull. So I end up waxing the nose.

After using The Honda spray cleaner and polish, I've started using Meguiar's Quik Detailer Mist & Wipe, And it bring's back the shine and I mean deep reflective shine, You can see yourself in it, You guy's gotta try this stuff. Quick and easy. And look's awesome. About 5.95 at Walmart. Worth every penny.

Clean as you would normaly do. But after cleaning, Spray this stuff on and check out the shine.

If Jessie Jame's had a ZX12R I'd ride with him.

I agree wholeheartedly WD. I have used the stuff for years on my car and continue to use it on my PMB. Nothing removes the bugs and brings up the shine as easily.

Use the Meguiars a lot myself too, especially good for cleaning the helmet shield. But I just tried Plexus, and I must say it does a better job on the plastic but is more $. I will continue to use both.

Hey Wardawg

When using the Honda polish and cleaner, I always get a beautiful shine. But it is a three step process.

1. Spray on cleaner.
2. Wipe off with rag to clean surface.
3. Buff with clean, dry, soft, polishing cloth.

Just my .02's

elucero that may be true with any color but PMB, When I did the Silver, The Honda polish was ok on it's on.

But Honda Polish need's help on the PMB, Cause there's a haze like finnish when done. It dos'nt shine.

If Jessie Jame's had a ZX12R I'd ride with him.

Meguiar's definitely does the trick for my 02 PMB. I am hesitant to use anything else simply for the fact that if it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Gentlemen, gentlemen, gentlemen. IMHO. Don't be skeeeeered of H2O. When my bike gets extremely dirty, I use WATER and Classic's or Meguiar's car wash. It is easiest way to remove the abrasive particles before you wipe it down with a soft cloth to wax or use a waterless polish/cleaner. Otherwise, you will scratch the surfaces wiping with a cloth. Honda Cleaner/Polish fills the scratches rather well. But, why add more scratches in the first place? Just be careful where you gush hard streams of water (e.g., in snorkel, electrical devices, chain, etc.). Also, try to dry the bike really well. You know what fish do in water?............... Swim!

BTW, IMHO, I have found that washing (soap and water)and waxing with a high grade of carnuba wax gives the best results for me. Carnuba wax gives the best shine and leaves a lot of protection for the paint from road tars, bug guts, etc. Unfortunately, it does not protect from the sun's UV ray's. Waxes with additives for UV protection, provide protection from the sun, but, actually attacked the paint over time. Also, you can get wax build up from using waxes which needs to be removed over time with a more stringent detergent or a solution made especially for this purpose.

Keep your bikes clean and waxed, they'll love you for it!

Not just a barbarian, a great barbarian!

Hey Dad, it's your fault that I just spent the last two hours waxing, polishing, cleaning, etc., etc.

Damn the bike sure looks good though!!!
