Has anybody replaced the stock mirrors? I have been looking at a few alternatives. Huge makes some really nice looking, the F1s, very pricey. Today I was looking at the stock CBR mirrors and the stem should fit right in. They are a lot smaller than the radar dishes we have. Any other suggestions?

If you go to www.zx-12r.org in the Bodywork section you will see two Huge Industries Banners on the top part of the page (one on each side of the page), just click on them.

He has a really cool Flash based intro page that is worth listening to and watching if you have speakers.

If you can't find it email me and I will send you the link directly.

CatMan...let me know what you think of the F1 Carbon mirrors. I think they are around $450 or so. Way up there. I got my front blinkers from them, pleasant dealing with them.

So which mirrors are the best to order for the ZX12R????

2000-2001 ZX7R or the 2000-2001 ZX9R or what?????

Does the Lockhart Phillips aftermarket for the ZX7/ZX9 then fit the ZX12R Respectfully????

Can someone post some pics w/part numbers and prices of what they have done??

Thanks

I've got some race replica carbon fiber mirrors ordered from Magical Racing in Japan.....slick, and the optics are supposed to be great. I'll post some pics if they ever arrive.

I bought a pair of aftermarket CBR900RR mirrors from Chapparel for 59.95

They fit perfectly and look way better.

They are carbon fiber look... which looks fine to me.

They came with rubber boots that looked goofy so I took them off and painted the remaining copper colored metal with black rubber coating. That stuff turned out great. Better than painting it black as that would probably just get scraped off anytime you accidently did something.

I think the mirrors look great and this was a cheap alternative if you are looking to save some money.

The optics of the actual mirrors is kinda poor but acceptable.

I just got back from a 500 mile trip and they worked fine.
