That's MR. MAX POWER to you! Ok, so maybe not. I cranked out 163 w/ a peak tq of 90. Somewhat disappointing, but A/F ratio was pretty good, hanging in there right at 13 up till about 10k, where it went up to 13.5 - 13.6. My mods... Akra, pc3r, bmc's, muzzy BO's, helibars, yellow box blah blah blah... (I think the helibars and YB added about 5 hp each).

The guys at NW Honda (Houston) were pretty cool, and let me join in with the whole session. Unfortunately, this was only their sixth or seventh bike on a brand new dyno, and they had some problems with the dynojet software (big surprise), so we didn't get to play around with mapping changes. Given the good looking AF curve, it may not have made much difference anyway (THANKS GM AND TENN! I owe you guys one).

I kept trying to figure out why I couldn't pull better #'s. It was warm, but not hot. Pretty humid, but my altitude is a measily 200' - 300' above SL. My other thought - brand new dyno. Do dynos have a breakin period? Bearings a little tight?? Or just more accurate than most because it's new?

Anyway, I'll see if I can talk Richard into posting pics of my runs so you "Experts" can help me decide if there's any HP hiding in there.

I'm hardly a dyno expert, but humidity plays a big role in dyno runs with the diesels, guessing the same holds true with the gassers ? There's some many variables with dyno runs, it could have been a mixture of the new software, weather, load placed on the bike, what gear you ran in,etc. Still good numbers. If time permits, try running the same dyno again on a clear, crisp fall morning. Bet your numbers are even better.

I agree BS (hope you don't mind me abbreviating your nickname <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/laugh.gif ALT=":lol"> ). I remember riding my ZX11 to work in OKC when it was 15 deg. outside. It definitely made a difference! <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/eek.gif ALT=":eek"> Kinda scary to have a big bump in hp due to cold weather, fortunately the bridgestones were nice, warm and sticky! <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/laugh.gif ALT=":lol">

I'll probably try again soon. Hopefully with NOS. That should get me above 170!

how does your bike run when you are topping it out..???

you AF looks very good
& with the forced ram air might actually make for a fast
bike

the software is supposed to give a correction factor
on each run........no doubt day to day
the weather changes

you did mention they had a problem
so maybe next time they can square it away

i'd ride it first ......WFO b4 i felt compelled to do anything
maybe you can improve on it........ maybe not

good luck
