Frist off check out mod to cut mud flap off, And second, Change front sproket to 17 tooth. ZX11D 17 dampened sproket.

ted, just got my 02 couple weeks ago after selling my 00, the 00 had the extended breakin 1000-2000 <9k but I've read the book and all the labels on the 02 and it just says 0-500 <4k and 500-1000 <6k, nothing about 1000 and above. where did you hear about 2000 miles for breakin on 02s??

Welcome to the site Mack,
Lots of great info here and lots of very switched on people who can assist you with just about everything to do with the 12!
I think you might find that the breaking in period is 2K, (check your manual) The bike really does need the miles as the bores are tight on them. After that it just gets faster and faster!
Once you see whats available for your 12, prepare to have your wallet mugged! LOLOL
Enjoy the site, take it easy on your bike as the power is very, very unforgiving!
