Many years ago I owned a GT550 Suzuki triple ( anybody remember them ) anyway I fitted a set of airhorns on that. They were easy to fit and wire up, and they frightened the shit out of many a brain dead car driver.

Thanks Kiwi/Alien

I figured going with the airspliters (I like the tone at 180dB for only $30). but instead of going under the tail, I was thinking along side of the ram intake. Or maybe even somewhere on the bike thats not visible (like the dead space in the belly pan).

Yes Fastkiwi, in fact a guy I know here in town still rides his GT550 on a daily basis. Unsure of the year, but it is blue. Love the sound of it too.

I don't own any Suzuki's, but I do own a few Kawasaki triples. I love riding them. One concern is finding parts. I buy up bikes when I can get my hands on them. Two-strokes rule!! I would love to see a big bore two-stroke sportbike for the street. I would have to buy one.

I think the one here in town has an orange or red pinstripe? Looks almost like the one in your picture with the above mentioned pinstripe.

Yeh I've had a few two strokes myself, including one of the origional blue H2 750 Kawasakis.
Two strokes make alot of sense in that they are so simple, but produce so much power per cc. I think I would also be keen on a big fuel injecter stroker too. I don't think that days gonna come now though.

I don't know if this has been done or what. But, has anyone heard of air horns being installed on the 12??? I was thinking of adding a couple of 57 chev 12V horns to the front of the bike, but I thought I could get some advice here before starting something that may get into the outrageous side of the house.

I know JC Whitney sells kits for cars and trucks, and modification is not a problem. I just wanted to bounce this off of the cumulative knowledge base that is known as ZX-12R.org
