I once said that riding a 12r in it's "grunt range" was better than sex, - to which my "ex" girl-friend said that I must be doing it wrong! Sex with the right partner is great. Riding a Kawasaki ZX-12r in it's "grunt" range is a thrilling, 110% attentive, brutal, awesome, orgasmic, out of the world experience. Riding it hard in the tighter stuff (2nd to 4th gear range) is a blast. Exiting a bend in 2nd, gas it up in the 8/9500rpm range and it will throw you sideways, back off and hit the throttle hard and it will straighten up with the front wheel pawing the air, click 3rd at 10500rpm and the front will shimmy the road (just), 200k's closing in real quick, pick up 4th and take it to 240k's, click 5th at 280k's, then 6th at 300k's at 10500rpm and remember where you are (100k zone). Slowly de-accelerate to the 100k zone speed limit while listening intensely to the 4/1 Akropovic exhaust (music to the ears). Better than sex - you bet!
