I came across a deal i could not turn down the other day on a p.c111.There's been these issues with the 12's and starter problems,so i was hesitant, but i was told the p.c111 had none.I figured what the hell go for it,so i did.i put it on and have about 200 miles on the bike and maybe 20 starts.not once did i have a problem. Is it the bike? or is it the p.c?
Very good question.I went to a rider friends who has a p.c111r.
just to be curious since i only temporarily installed the 111 we wanted to try the 111r out on my bike.we took the p.c111 off and put on the p.c111r, as soon as the bike warmed back up,the starting issue occured.(i'm not sure if that plays a factor).after 3 try's of switching the 111 to 111r on my bike the thing got worse and we gave up.i put my p.c111 back on and rode most of sunday and some sunday night.no problems.
all i can say is if you own a 111r that does this see if dyno jet will switch it out for you for a p.c111.

Hi mach ,can you recall what ign "map" was in the pc3r as this may contribute to the starting problem.I'm running a 3r on my 12 and don't have any problems, but I don't have any ign advance in "light throttle/idle" cells. Maybe worth looking into?
Hope this is of some help.

If you're not breakin' the law, you're not riding!!
