Hello all!

New H2 owner here (In Alaska so short riding seasons until I get out of the military)
. Just bought a 2015 H2 about two months ago. Currently has a Vandemon exhaust and CF dash.

I was wondering if I could get some help from you seasoned H2 guys on what I should get (preferably in order of importance), and where to get the best parts. I'm tracking a lot of guys say get an Intercooler, but where from? Anything helps!

I've got a 2015 H2 also
I have a TT3 full exhaust - similar to the Vandemon.
DNA air filter.
Woolich tuning (including road/track datalogging with final dyno run to fine tune).
H2R Camshafts.
TurboSmart Blow Off Valve.
Extreme Creations Intercooler (Australian Made).

Check to see what type of air filter you may have in it incase it's already been upgraded.
Do you know the state of tune? Has it been done? This would be the first area I would sort out as they are notorious for snatchy low rev riding, so good to get it smoothed out in all throttle positions, not just flat out.

H2R cams certainly not a necessary item, I did it because I could! Blow Off Valve helps to clear up the area around the engine head but also does sound great. The intercooler is a good idea if you intend on doing track riding on hot days or if doing long rides on hot days - though I guess Alaska doesn't qualify!! Also it can potentially give higher HP on dyno I'm told. The Extreme Creations Intercooler is an exceptionally well made unit from Aus, but pricey.

How many KMS/Miles has it done and do you have the service record? 24K kms/15K miles service is bloody expensive! Unless able to do it yourself. If you're not mechanically minded then definitely make sure you get it serviced by an approved mechanic, private one if known to be reliable, otherwise through approved Kawasaki dealer. Parts are expensive given the H2 tag and they are fairly unique to the bike. I tend to source my parts from RonAyers in the U.S. as it can be cheaper than going through my Kawasaki dealer here in South Aust. even with shipping costs.

Also check out NinjaH2.org site, bucket loads of good info from some very knowledgeable people, most have moved on but the info is still there.

Cheers,
Don.

Don,

It's supposedly been tuned to 90 gas (the highest Octane available in AK and minimum allowed to be run in an H2). Don't know about the filter but I can check. As far as the miles go, it's only got 3.1K miles on it, so I should be a ways off. I rode it yesterday (40f outside) and gave it some pulls. Boost temp didn't get over 130. Other than some possible issues with the rear tire (looks like the previous owner did some burnouts and flattened out the middle of the rear a little so turning felt a little weird), it ran very smooth and has that raw power I was hoping for when buying the bike. Thanks for the info brother!

No worries mate,
Sounds like it's going well anyway. Not surprised about the rear tyre!
I believe your octane numbers are derived differently to ours in Australia?, so probably about right with our 95 RON (Random Octane Number) which is the recommended octane in the manuals.
You both need to stock up on green zx12r turbos…way faster than those puny h(2nd place)….

Hmmm,
Touch of jealousy me thinks? :giggle:
