Ended up bringing home a 2004 800 Interceptor. I was going to walk away but ended up getting it for $1,000. After the new battery I am hoping to make a few bucks on it come spring.

Yeah, he initially had it listed for $2,000 and was down to $1,500 when I saw the ad. He told me he'd take $1,250 for it before I went and looked at it. After riding it we talked a bit more and he said the stealership he was buying his Ninja 1000 from offered him $850 for it in trade. He shot a $1,000 to me so I took it. Rides good. Tires are close to replacement time but hoping I can sell it before doing that.

Sad news. The mighty Buell X1, Carbon Fiber Extreme, Factory Limited Edition , 173 of only 250 made, not your father's Sportster, employs a special blue carbon fiber weave is gone. Sold to a collector in The Netherlands.

But still have the 12 and Wang.

Yes. I did, several times. This guy really wanted it and kept asking to buy it. Since I only put a few dozen miles per year on it, I let it go. I threw in all my Buell stuff.

Sold the Interceptor about a month ago. Listed it on Cycle Trader for $2,000 just to see what interest there was. Had a few nibbles and then a college kid offered me $1,700 and he'd come get it, which where I live that was worth probably $100 minimum. Had to wait for the title to come from the state before he came and got it, which he did. Pretty easy and painless sale. I only put about 80 miles on it.
