DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THERE IS ANYTHING I CAN DO STOP MY PIPES FROM GETTING RUSTED? MY YOSH RS3 HEADER IS GETTING SOME SURFACE LIGHT CORROSION, I HAVE BEEN POLISHING THE HELL OUT OF THEM BUT IT COMES BACK. IT LOOKS LIKE LITTLE RED STAINS ON THE FINISH. THANKS IN ADVANCE!

If it bugs ya that much, maybe you should consider wrapping the header. problem solved. Blitzkreig has his wrapped, it looks nice, i think it helps performance, and it's cheap. I don't know of anything you can apply to the header to stop rust that won't burn off.

You could Jet Hot coat it too.



I think the Jet Hot coat followed by ThermoTec wrapping is the hot setup. Just my .05 worth (inflation).....

As far as the "cheap" part - shop around. I found out AFTER I bought my wrap from a speed shop that I could have special ordered it from Checker Auto for about $25 less than I paid.



Expect to spend around $ 65.00 for the wrap and the snap straps.
