while riding this morning i got on a blacktop road, i thought at first it was just finished, it turned out it looked wet and slippery. I still haven't decided if it was slick or not, anyway i got behind a 5th wheel camper and it was a little hilly so speed wise we were doing about 35 at the top of the hills and 70 when we get to the bottom. i wanted to pass but they had those little glue down markers for the passing zones.

these are the type that are about 6" wide and bent at a 90 degree angle, they stick up an inch and a half or so.
i was just wondering if you can drive over those things or are they a problem?

the plastic ones that are recessed into the pavment are as bad as the big ones like out in cali

with a morning dew on them they are slippery

also watch out for the paint stripes themselves
when relatively new the old type with the refective crystals
& thr new type epoxy are very slippery when wet

grabbing big throttle to pass & get on those wet stripes
can actually throw you sideways & down.......
all in a 1oth of a sec

be careful

I know what you are talking about. They are just the temporary markers until they get around to painting lines. They are safe to drive over, but I don't suggest turning on them!
