My son was on a six lane highway in the slow lane.A truck in front slowed to make a right turn.My son merged to the center lane then merged back to the slow lane after getting by the truck.

Cop pulls him over and gives him not one,but two tickets for improper lane change without a turn signal.WTF is that all about?

First off the law here in Fl says you don't need to put on a turn signal unless you are making a 90 degree turn. Unless,traffic is heavy and will be interupted when changing lanes.

I live in fla. And im under the impression you have to signal for a lane change.. but hey, im not a leo

Was probly Just a cop filling his quota for the month. My roommate tells me when end of the month is near n still short on the quota he gives cellphone tickets to people he knows weren't using them but had em in their hand, or if someone moves even a foot with no seatbelt they pop em, all depends on the curcumstance I assume, but does happen. Guy probly just saw an opportunity to get rid of a ticket and us Sport bike riders r always an easy target. Law enforcement hates sport bikes I get stared down even going 2-3mph under the limit its crazy...
