positive..... It doesn't work in the tank either. I think there is an extra notch on the key for the tank and tail or something. I am going to take it to a different locksmith on monday and see what he says.

I recieved my bike from the salvage company without any keys. Well i took my ignition to a locksmith and he made me a set for it. It works in the ignition fine but not in the tank and trunk. There is only one key right????

Are you sure the lock or seat/cowling isn't jammed from the crash?

Do what some of the other guys recomended, if it doesnt work then it Could be they just put another ignition cylinder in from some other bike!!!



Take out the tail cylinder and bring that to the locksmith and make another key!!!
