I wanted to start this forum for 2 reasons:

- to allow people to make constructive suggestions for improving the Talk Forums and the ZX-12r.org Information Site.

- to get compliments about how the site has potentially helped you with your ZX-12R, this lets me and advertisers (Kawasaki + ?) know more about the success? of this kind of site.

Before making any posts please read the following Suggestions:
Make sure you back up your suggestions with constructive examples and preferrably solutions. For example "This site Sucks" will not help me improve anything, you may just need to go buy a Busa if you really feel the need to complain about something. It is better to see something like this: "the Talk Forum is being overrun by polls from Richard, can you please start a polls section to keep it all in one place". This points out a problem and a potential solution.
I can not promise to have the time or money to implement all the suggestions, but at least it helps me prioritize the changes.

This part of the Forum should try to focus on how ZX-12R.org and Forums have helped you with your Biking experience and potentially your decision to purchase a ZX-12R. I have heard from many people that they made their decision to purchase a ZX-12R instead of a Busa due to the information and support on ZX-12R.org, please post those stories in this forum.

You should also post if you made the decision to buy a specific product for your bike due to information posted on ZX-12r.org. In general let me know how ZX-12r.org has effected your decisions about purchases, modifications etc. for your Bike
The more valuable this resources is to ZX-12R owners the more likely of being able to get support from Kawasaki and advertisers to keep it growing.

And remember: this site is only as good as the people and information that is posted. Everyone on the Forums that contributes constructively needs to give themselves credit for the success of ZX-12R.org.

Thanks,

Easyrider

Just a quick note regarding my experience(s) with this site. I hope I've put this note into the appropriate "Forum".

Although my first exposure to the ZX12 was on the road, over the last year or so, virtually everything I've uncovered, learned, and purchased has come about from the discoveries I've made on the ZX-12R.org web-site! I've learned the latest about tires, fuel, other motorcycles makes, riding techniques, bike accessories, and more. Certainly there are many other sites on the Web to go to regarding motorcycling, but I always find my self starting here (ZX-12R), and/or ending here(ZX-12R).

Another characteristic I find particularly rewarding about this site is the feeling of; for the lack of a better word, is the feeling of brotherhood. With all the diverse backgrounds; we have pilots, mechanics, lawyers, business people, engineers, motorcycle drag-racers, many different backgrounds, and there's still a real connection and feeling of something shared. There's something common being shared, more than just the ZX12, but the love of motorcycling in general. Even an occassional comming together to express sympathy and to wish a member well! It's a great site to spend time in.

In putting my money where my mouth is, check my "Bike Mod.s". All the items I've added to my 12 were first researched out on this web site (including researching the 12 before I purchased it). So far, I've got $14K in my bike w/mods. I'll spend more as I discover things that can either improve my 12 or improve my abilities to utilize what my 12 can do.

Best Regards

Thank you very much, that is exactly what I had hoped people would find at zx-12r.org , that definitely makes the time spent on this site worthwhile. I am very glad that the site has helped you out, and I agree 100% that the people on the ZX-12R.org forum are first rate. My only regret is not being able to meet more people from the site.

It is good to see you on the site. It was a little rocky moving over. Most of that was my fault for jumping the gun and letting people preview the site before it was ready. But most people should be OK now. The stragglers that drop in from week to week are still making it back but so far most people made it.

Ijust want to say thanks for all the info I got from this site, and after unsuccefully trying to get decent accessorys from the dealer, I've found vendors who are decent to deal with. I'm still waiting for stuff fron Hans and Dino but I'm sure it will be worth the wait. I'll have to wait another month or so for the snow to go anyways, by then I'll have the bike back together and I might have figured out how to post pictures. :?

This as you might be able to tell is my 2nd post. But I have been visiting
here for a couple of months. This web site is a very big part of why I
decided to buy a zx12r, 12 yes 12 days ago. I have got huge quantities
of info and enjoyment from zx-12.org. thanks and keep up the great work.

I'm not flying if I still have ONE tire on the ground :D :D :D

Thanks for a informative, intelegent and often humorus site! I have to admit that the first ten or so times I skipped the site because of associating "easyrider" with harleys. I was wrong this site is better than porn. Thank ya'll for all the hard work, Lin

That is an interesting comment. I wonder how many people skip the site due to bad mojo assuming Easyrider == Harley.

On the flipside, I wonder how many unsuspecting Harley riders checked out the site looking for greasy floors and poor quality engines to find color coordinated kick butt power with no oil leaks.
