Just wondering has anyone with 2nd generation zx14 has tried a 40 tooth rear sprocket at the track? I read where it makes the bike easier to launch leading to better times.I am talking about a bike with stock wheelbase and stock ride height. Also has anyone experimented at track with tc settings to see what gives the better times.

Not personally but one of my buddies has a new 14 and went down a tooth or 2 (can't remember the #of teeth he said) and loved the results on the qtr mile. He says very noticeable on the launch. Ive ridden it but not before he changed the sprocket so can't compare before and after but that things a torque monster it can surely handle a smaller sprocket. Also that's a sick lookin 14 u got, love the paint an looks sweet keeping the duel exhaust! Very badass... Good luck with it!
