The whole situation had me wondering because I couldn't figure out why the police were also in surveilance mode near the truck. Made sense when I saw that it was the second month of the program.

But on another note, I now understand the methodology behind using the largest/most-powerful caliber you can control accurately... LOL In a confrontation with this guy, I'd be worried about hitting him with enough 9mm.

9mm? This is why a .45 is my choice. This is also a prime example why I support concealed carry. I believe it would've been a REALLY bad situation if anyone would've crossed paths with this idiot while he was high as a kite.

I think that as soon as the perp closes the door behind him, the ignition should be interrupted & brakes applied, doors should lock, a gas capsule should flood the cabin with a gas that subdues him, while the horn blows & lights flash...

The technology's cheap... No remote control, no depending on cell communications... It just makes more sense to me...

BTW - That vid is fakked up!!

I think a Blue Thunder type of "intervention" would cure the scumbag druggee of his criminal ways...yup

Guess that makes me somewhat right wing in my point of view, but it is guys like this that crash into innocent people, and then the cops get blamed. Nice to have a view into what really goes on for once.

9mm is normal carry for me but depending on the mood/planned outings, I mix in various other calibers. 45 is a great cartridge but the platforms I use for concealed carry don't allow for the same round count. I am more of a light and fast type guy myself...

9 mm is a problem is the guy is under drugs or another thing, because the bullet is to fast, that if no hit an important organ or bone, will passed through him .... the guy impacted probably will be in a condition to hurt you...with a .45 the same person will be impacted so hard, that make almost imposible to react against you..yo can make the test with cans full of water..the 9mm will make an hole..the .45, a disaster....
