scratched wheel...what to do

I've got the faster red model with polished wheels. Somehow (I won't bore you with the details) I've scratched the polished portion of the wheel. The gouge is fairly significant (thumbnail stops in it). Is there a good way to polish/sand it out?

Tenn12 would be the man to talk to. He's polished more aluminum than Alcoa....
