Wednesday night at Bravo Burger on Beach Blvd in Huntington Beach (near Ellis) is the only local sport bike hangout I know of. Does anyone know of any others (hooters on 55?)?

I am inviting all of you to join the local sport bike club run at Ortega's corners this Sunday. The main group of fast riders will make a slow run (for a change) to teach a new R1 rider corner straffing techniques. Good time to break in some tires or as I hope, to ride at "the pace" (no brakes, no straightway blasting, race lines, stay within my lane). This will be the 12's first canyon run.

Meet us at 8AM, on Sunday May 12, at the 76 station, at the bottom of Ortega Hwy where it meets I5. We will only ride until noon, so Mothers Day can have it's share of our time.

I am Fred. I will be on a silver 12. GSXR1K Pete (not ddpete) will lead the run.

I will be heading up to Sequoia National Park from Sunday to Tuesday for a little bike camping trip.

The woman is out of town, so I gotta play!

Maybe I will stop by the gas station at 8AM and say hi on my way by.
