Testing a slip-on for Brock, and installed a fender eliminator. Also, a Shorai battery. I got the high capacity battery, around 285CA.

I really like this slip-on. Very aggressive tone with noise reduction plug removed. Overall, these small mods drop around 17 lbs from the bike.

I've seen people cut cat off and mount slip on right after 02 sensor I guess it's like full system...doest blocks make headers with bigger Diameter or the same?

I believe Brock's full system has headpipes close to stock I.D.? I am going to end up going to a full system at some point, but this was a quick, easy upgrade. The sound is so aggressive, it really changes the feel of the bike.

The thing is, in the vid, not past 7k rpm...when you combine the roar at high rpm, and the chirp of the BOV if you shift it lazily...very cool. I am really hooked on the quickshifter, tho....

This bike is incredible. I will try to get video of some on-the-road, high rpm pulls.

Ordered a set of H2 BST's...

Will report back, once measured and installed. Could be a few weeks...

PS. Unfortunately, H2 posts don't show up on the front page, nor in the latest posts. I have reported this, months ago...but no change.

Warp12, you seem to put BST's on all your bikes, do you have a great hook-up for them? Those are not cheap by any means.

Warp the front wheel saves 3 lbs but the back only 1 lb...

Don't get me wrong I WAsted money on titanium bolts so I'm all about rotating mass and unsprung weight, but do u think its worth it? Just a large cost as previously mentioned...

If ur planning on competing I guess leave no stone unturned but was just wondering ur thought process...

Also ur rear rim in the pic looks diff from the one 650ib just installed... Might it be a lighter version 2.0?

I bought my first set around 2009. My 14R is the only bike I have BST's on, at the moment....and that set came with a project bike we purchased for a song, a few years back.
I guess that's the way to get them. I would love to have a set on my 14r just haven't talked myself into it yet. By the way do you know how much weight saving they are over the stock gen 2 rims?

Those BSTs are gona look insanely good on that bike especially the single sided rear. They aren't cheap by any means but if u have the means that's one hell of a way to spend it. I know if I could, I would.

I am not sure his weights are correct...since he appeared to weigh the wheels with two different types/sizes of tires, on a scale with .5 lb resolution? I guess I will see. I am not going to make any judgement on them until I have them in my hands. As I posted on the H2 site, it is not just about the overall weight, but also where the weight falls on the rim. The biggest gain for BST's, by far, is in handling...and the bikes tend to jump out a little harder on the initial hit.

The advertised weights for the rims are 7 lbs front (matches IB's), and 7.05 lbs for rear. I will weigh them on my own scales.

The rim in the pic is probably a stock photo of a Ducati rim?

Brock responded to 650ib's video:

Ib, I love you my friend and thanks for the vid! But you can't add tire weights into the measurements, and you can NEVER compare new tires to used tires, it's not uncommon for them to be 2-3 lbs. different. The RS10 is also a 190/55 series tire, it's taller, which makes it heavier.

Here are true wheel weights, using certified scales:

OEM H2 (2015) Front and Rear Wheel Weights

OEM Front (bare, w/ bearings):
10.00 lb. (add .10 for spacers)

BST Front (w spacers):
SIZE : 3.5" x 17"
WEIGHT : 7.00 lb. (3.17 kg)
Add .25 lb. (0.11 kg) with Worldwide Bearings ceramic bearings
Add .30 lb. (0.13 kg) with Worldwide Bearings steel bearings

OEM Rear Wheel (bare):
10.95 lb.

BST Rear:
SIZE : 6" x 17"
WEIGHT : 7.05 lb. (3.19 kg)

As you can see, there is 2.85 lbs. (w ceramics) front and 3.9 lbs. rear for a total unsprung difference of 6.75 lbs. But that doesn’t tell the whole story; the real difference is in the rotating mass. Since the weight of the BST’s are concentrated in the center of the hub (aka, lighter out toward the rim), they are easier to accelerate (Lower MOI).
As I say, I will weigh them on my own scales. In the past, I have found Brock's advertised numbers to be accurate.

I have a PC-V here, to install. I haven't sent the ECU out yet. I figured there is no rush since the riding season is almost over. I always use a Power Commander because it allows you to tune for different fuels and track conditions.
