Had the arm on my 12 extended 6" by them. My bike is no show bike or anything, but this arm is not going on it! I nearly threw up whe I got it unwrapped. The welding looks like it was done with a battery charger! The tubing used to extend it is like the thin wall, sharp square corner stuff from a hardware store. I doubt it's even safe.
