Steering Dampener Advice Wanted

Any suggestions on what to buy or more importantly what not to buy? Is the installation complex or require adjustments? What are the drawbacks of a steering dampener other than the obvious..cost?

Thanx for your help. Under hard throttle, just as the wheel starts to lift, I get a brief headshake....I don't want that to develop into a tank slapper.

I'm also in the market for a dampner.... i was thinking about the hyper-pro..cost is the main factor...I've heard how the scotts are a pain....and man they are expensive
