Safe, yep they've got those bike nights in Houston too. I haven't participated because I live so freekin far north. Just west of Conroe, so I'm looking at about 50 miles one way to get to the Galleria area. One of these days I'll get down there to check out the action.

With beer, anything is possible.

Hey guys I live in Tyler. We like to ride up to Mena Ark. and ride the Talahena scenic Hwy. 1 that goes through the park. Its 67 miles of cool riding. Its about 250 miles due north of us here in Tyler. We like to go several times a year. We just recently went to Eureka Springs Ark. to the ZRX and V-Max owners club meet. They have one in the spring and fall and are a good bunch [ read no squids ] Hundreds of miles of scenic bad ass roads and no cops to spoil the fun! Its usually just me on my 12R and my son on his 9R so lets hook up!

Austin was great ( HOT ) but we had a great time. Way more harleys than Sportsbikes, but that was expected. We took several rides out West and up North to several lake stops

and a cool poker run ( sux ass hand ) and the best part was the " BIG " parade ride into DT Austin ( 26K+ bikes ) i really dont think anyone expected a ZX12R to roll up the street w. flames and all... ( or was it the cute girl on the back? )

either way it was a hit and I look forward to maybe getting more sports bikesbikes there next year.

As for Arkansas - Im in on that too! put me on your list to call when its time.

Now, how about meeting Richard in Bryan ? Either date? post here if you are interested in meeting up at the Dixie Chicken or ???? or e-mail me direct at : [email protected]

Ok, here in Dallas we are die hards, but 3hrs in rain and poor weather did us in. We're bailing on tomorrow, BUT we are in for next weekend. Hopefully Richard will understand and maybe have scoped out the local scene and can guide us next weekend. Sorry we didnt make it !!

Steve, any of you Dallas 12'rs thinking about doing the Black Hills ride next year? We should get Houston and Dallas riders to unite and give the rest of them BH boys the what for! Think about it, maybe we could hook up on the way up (either riding, or hauling).

I've been to Hallett before, and it was pretty fun! Had the ZX11 out there. Not terribly fast around the corners compared to those 600's, but I sure showed them my tail on the straights!!
