Thats what people thought about Barbie dolls too. I just sold my Barbie doll collection for $20k. That included the Barbie R.V., Barbie Corvette, and Barbies ultra rare lesbian friend Bambi.

After I got Bambi, Ken never got any from Barbie EVER AGAIN.

Unless i'm mistaken (& I could be) I think only the original owners of the 2000 model year ZX-12R got the book from Kawasaki for free. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)"> & I'm not about to sell/ebay mine.

Hey blitz, what's that old book currently worth??

I believe GreenMamba is correct on the book. As far as I know only the 2000 owners got it.

Larry, it's one of those "it's worth what someone is willing to pay things", but I have had several guys tell me since it is an original Excaliber XX manual with all pages intact (and that old), that it would probably draw $400-500 on Ebay.

I will not, however be selling it. Its one of the few things I have from my Great Grandfather who was a bike freak like us - just 70 years before us...LOL

My Grandfather told me he once saw him do a powerslide (he called it a dirt sprayer, or something like that) on the dirt road coming up to their house on the XX, when he was about 13.

He smiled like nothing you've ever seen when he told me that story...

I got mine, it is still in the original mailer cardboard. It is a thing of beauty! Definitely keeping it. Not sure how many times Kawasaki has taken the time to reward the first year purchasers of their products with such an item, but it is very cool.

Well put Team.

Another thing some people forget about the '00 12, and rememeber this 10 years down the road, is that the '00 12 and '00 Busa were the last of the top end bred breed, before the EU got em. 186 mph.

You may say "so what". I'll tell you so what. Go out and check the prices on any of the last of the truly "born be to bad" musclecars. Look up the prices on a '70 Hemi 'Cuda.

Now, though I was 7 years old when the '69 Road Runner came out, I still remember them. Boy do I. They used to tear those cars up like, well, some of us on this site do our 12's.

You priced a '69 Hemi Road-Runner lately????

Think about it.

P.S. - They cost $ 2840 stock w/383 out the dealer lot.
