I have to admit, I bought my 2000 in May 01 and Red was the only color available ( was looking for Green ) my head was turned by the Silver 01 and was going to get one but Keith at Highlands Kawasaki made me a deal on a 00 Red one I could not refuse. While red is one of my favorite colors I generally do not choose to dirve it as I feel it is too visible to the local law enforcers. sigh... I suppose there is always that custom paint that she keeps screaming about! LOL just like a woman wants all your money!!

when i got my 12 i wanted a silver one, this was in 2000 but, none were available so i got a red one instead which was alright,but since i wrecked my 12 going to the gap last month and my body work was pretty well trashed i am going with original color that i wanted in the first place...SILVER....reddawg
