The southern hemisphere is now tilting towards the optimum riding angle. I took my 12 out for its first decent ride in 6 months, accompanied by a 2010 X-plane R1 and a brand spanking V4 Tuono (which sounds like moto-pornography, by the way). Looking forward to months of riding ahead

the pick ups for the rear stand, they screw into the threads welded to the underside of the swingarm, so named because they look like the bobbins that thread is sold on..

My hat is tipped to you, Kaz.

The only Iron Butt rider I have personally met and rode with was OldKneeDragger and he was - hardcore. I mean fuck me running bad to the bones hardcore.

We trailered to the first Black Hills Rally. Pussies in comparison really.

He rode from Aztec, NM to Vancouver, BC for a meeting, down to the Black Hills, SD, rode with us the whole time at the Black Hills and then rode BACK to Aztec, NM.

Do the mapquest math on that one. LOL

For Christ's sake, we had to go to Rapid City, SD during the trip so he could have his rear tire changed (which was new when he left for the trip like 3 days earlier).

And, the dude could wheelie a ZX-12R like a kid on a Schwinn.

I was humbled to say the least.

OKD - I know you are out there brother somewhere. You and Kaz need to meet us at the Black Hills next year. I will pay for the cabins. :)
