....the problem where the bike wouldn't start with the clutch all the way in, but as you slide the clutch out it would start? It's just a cable adjustment right?

Setting the TPS is really as easy as the instructions make it sound... and it works?

I have been riding the damn thing all season, and haven't had enough time to sort all this stuff. Too busy try to keep Mono off my tail. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/laugh.gif ALT=":lol"> So now I want to tune things up a little bit and get a couple rides in before I put it up for the cold season.

Sounds like the clutch safety switch is the culprit.

The cure?.........a brand new ZX-12, of course.

Meanwhile, start the bike in neutral, with the clutch out.

It's the clutch safety switch. already had mine replaced under warranty.
