Seems that when you get the Honda factory behind you then you can make the Hondas go fast (ie. Nicky & Rossi). Kawasaki does quite well for Eric Bostrom but if you are a privater then the Suzuki is pretty competitive right off the show room floor. Nothing against Kawasaki or Honda, just the simple fact that in 2002 there are more competitive Suzuki's on the AMA road race circuit than anything else.

The only thing I see wrong with the Willow Springs race this weekend is that it is the same weekend as the MotoGP race in Rio, Brazil<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/frown.gif ALT=":("> I've been to AMA races and I've been to MotoGP races... they are both good but there is nothing like the MotoGP for all out perfromace. I wish that they could attract a few of the MotoGP guys just to see the difference in a bike with a few hundred thousand invested verses the couple of million that they put in the MotoGP bikes... They are just flat radical beyond believe <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)"> Just compare the lap times on any of the world tracks between WSB and MotoGP...

Back to the original point, yes I wish there was more variety!

Just my opinion. I feel the same way about all the V-Twins in Superbike racing. I like to go against the grain. If everybody is doing one thing, I like to do another. Just the way I am I guess. It was good this year to see the Kawasaki giving Honda hell in AMA and in the year's prior with Mat Mladin on his Suzuki. Sorry if my opinion offended anybody??
