Each bike may be different number 9. The way to check it is to go out on the expressway and reset the trip meter to zero the second you hit a mile marker, then ride for 5 miles and see how many miles the trip meter has on it. DO the calculations and see how close you are. That's what I did anyway.

voz, the 17t is the best "seat of the pants" improvement to the bike. Makes it easier to handle from stops, and makes the bike feel a lot stronger too. Just ask Blitz!

The 17t runs between $20 and $50, depending on what you get. If you want a factory Kaw sprocket with the rubber dampers on it, get the ZX11D sprocket - it's the $50 one.

The yellowbox is a must also, cost about $100 from blackrobotics.com, I believe. Oh, and don't trust the ODO for setting the yellowbox! My ODO and speedo don't match up for some reason. Borrow a GPS.

Vinnie is dead on regarding the 17t and yellow box. I'd spend the extra bucks and get the dampened ZX11D, that's what is on mine.......it's great......do it now!

Check the for sale section. InHondo has a post in there with his email address. That's where I got mine from, good guy to deal with and around $90.

Like Vinnie said, don't set it by odometer, mine didn't match up either. Best to set it with a GPS.

Bonneville box and Yellow box are not the same. Bonneville box eliminates speed restriction, Yellow box recalibrates speedo.

And finally, DO NOT ask Blitz any questions regarding sprockets. He has a bad case of sprocket phobia.

I also have the factory ZX11D sproket. Worth the extra$$ I had the non dampened one. And it was loud, with metalic sound, Sound like a blower pulley. But it worked fine.

nondampened 22-25 buck's is fair price if they have one.

dampened up around 50 buck's. Best mod for your buck and a must do. Whip up on anything on the road with just this mod.

inhondo is quick and relaible also is where I got yellow box.

If Jessie Jame's had a ZX12R I'd ride with him.
