I have a 99 ZX-11 with no spark on 1 and 4. I believe the coil is bad. Can anyone tell me how to check it with a digital ohm meter and what value I should read? I hope it's Ok to ask here, I thought this site got a lot more traffic than the ZX-11 forum.

Thanks for the link ZXLNT. I already got this reply from Mechnic over there.
"Elboman, coil resistance=primary2.3-3.5ohms.Secondary=12000-18000ohms.Disconnect wires to coils, check ohms reading between two, this is primary or low tension side.Secondary or high tension side connect meter between each ht output on coil. Not checked but it may be possible to swap coil 1/4 with 2/3 to check for spark.Sounds very much like a coil ?.Good luck"
