A friend of mine has a ZX-11 and wants to know what mods to do to it for better performance at the drag strip. He currently has a Vance&Hines full exhaust and power pack. He does not want to put a Turbo or NOS on it. Are there any sites for the ZX-11?

Vance & Hines!!! your losing Horse Power with that pipe!!!

Get the Muzzy stainless pipe...The round canister is on the sprocket side of the bike!!! The reason for that is, the oil pan hangs low on the throttle side of the motor...

So Muzzy made the pipe without the bends so it has to exit out the sprocket side of the bike therefor making it able to make around 135 Horsepower @ the rear wheel...

Put on a 16 tooth front sprocket...

Strap for the front...

Rejet the carbs for the Muzzy pipe...

Make sure you have the exact amount of oil the manual calls for...

Maybe someone else can tell if anyone makes lowering links for the 11...

The ZX11 is a good beginners bike for DragRacing...

Due to it having good power and will give you the confidance of keeping up with the BigDogs...

What I listed above is the cheapest way to go DragRacing with the 11... I know that others have other items to add so do so!!!

Big bore, Head work,STOCK cams dialed in at 103in, 105 exhaust, Keihen carbs, good header, electric or air shifter, strap, lowering links, Extended swing arm, M/T tire. PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!!!!
