Assuming I can break even on the sticker deal. Getting close, a another 4-5 orders should get me about even.

Would people be interested in Baseball Caps with the ZX-12R.org logo on them? If so how much would people be willing to pay?

Would people be interested in Shirts with the ZX-12R.org logo on the chest and something on the back? I was thinking of talking to Muzzy and getting permission to put the copy of the 199.12 mph certificate on the back. Any other suggestions would be welcomed,

And how much money are people willing to pay? How much did people pay for the LABUSA shirts? And what kind are they? long/short sleeves, crew neck, V-neck, golf shirt??

What would people want? What colors. I like black because they don't show the dirt, but that may not be other people favourite if they live in the south.

These are just idea's I don't know where to get anything made yet, but I wanted to see if people were interested first.

I will get some feedback and then start a poll.

This was an interesting suggestion from 12R 2234???b

"I'd like to see main body of the ZX-12R.ORG logo in florescent green (much like the green used on this board...clearly a Kawasaki signature color) with blue/white outline borders. This embroidered logo should be attached to basic black attire (cap, shirt, sweatshirt, jacket, etc.) Now picture this... a small logo on the left chest area and a large logo on the back area...included on the back is a large frontal view of the fairing design used at the bottom of this board...and the borrowed qoute (in florescent blue), "This way something wicked comes..." below the fairing. Or put a medium sized ZX-12R.ORG logo below the the qoute on the right side. I think this combo on black is very powerful, very ominous, very wicked,... like our beasts...it means business...IT KICKS ASS!!!

Other attire colors should/could be available if its cost effective, but this black/florescent green/blue combo should be the org's basic signature. After all...WE ARE...Kawasaki fans, are we not? Hopefully none of these ideas run into anyone's copyright...hell, Kawasaki should pay "US", the enthusiastic consumer, for advertising its products...but that's another topic...in another world...

This is just my humble-its-raining-so-I-can't-ride-might-as-well-put-in-my-2-cent-idea. So, whaddaya think, guys? "

I am going to work on some quotes for Golf shirts in Black and White with a sown on ZX-12R.org Logo.

I will see what the price is for a small logo on the chest pocket area and a large one on the back. With a good quality Golf/polo type shirt.

Let me know if this sounds good to you guys.

Thanks,

Easyrider

Taking the present suggestions I came up with some mock ups of what the logo would look like. The Green would be a bit darker and more flourescent, the same with the blue, but this gives a bit of an idea.

On a black background.

or on a white shirt

Regular t-shirts are cheaper to produce and to buy!!! Also,i'm a jeans and t-shirt kind of guy!!!

I think that the ZX12.org name would look great as small print over left side as you wear it...In very large print to fill up the back of the t-shirt!!!

Black t-shirt with Red and Purple lettering for Red 12 owners...

Black t-shirt with Green and Purple lettering for Green 12 owners...

White t-shirt with same combination listed above...

The Red and Green combinations because those are the origional colors!!!

Just some suggestions...

...Easy, very nice...I guess I should've clarified about the application of the large rear logo...I got so excited, I rambled...anyway the large rear embroidered logo should be on the backs of jackets and maybe sweatshirts...otherwise, it'd be a bit much on anything else...basically, small embroidered logo up front on polo-shirts or sweatshirts (nothing on back of either)...small silkscreen logo up front on t-shirt or sweatshirt with silkscreen fairing and qoute on back...small embroidered logo on front of jacket with embroidered fairing and qoute on back (probably the most expensive...but the BADDEST!)...

embroidered logo on caps

ALL embroidery are "stand alone" type print...in other words, the design is stitched directly onto the shirt, etc. and are not patches...much classier, I think

I humbly submit these ideas for you to critique...c'mon, guys and gals!!!...give easy your ideas, too!!!

I talked to a local Promo company, I don't have the final numbers but I have some idea.

It looks like I may be off on what we want. However this is what I know, take these numbers lightly.

High quality 100% cotton golf shirt (white or black) with the above listed ZX-12R.org logo in one set of colors (the setup charge for different colors looks like it could be cost prohibitive. There would be a woven ZX-12R.org logo (above)on the chest and a larger one across the shoulders on the back (woven as well). This is a very high quality shirt with woven logo's that breath, silkscreen is sweaty.

XXL and up are a bit extra. With the setup, shipping, packaging etc. It is looking like $55 U.S. per shirt total. However I still need to get a final quote. If the volumes are higher it should go down. If you order more than one shirt the cost will go down a bit. Good quality cloth caps with proper adjustable straps at the back with the woven logo are in the $12 U.S. range.

However I have spec'd good quality shirts and caps, there are definite reductions if you go for lesser quality stuff. If we don't put the large woven ZX-12R.org logo on the back it could drop the cost by $10. We would be able to put a silkscreen image on the back for less than the woven label, but the silkscreen stuff doesn't breath.

Are we in the right ballpark or not let me know what you think. I will start up some polls as to what people want. T-shirts would be cheaper, and silkscreen even more cheaper, you guys let me know what you want.

Muliple colored logo's for the different colored bikes may be tough, the green is good because it represents Kawasaki. However if there are enough that want the red instead of green color let me know who you are and how many you would buy. The sticked labels will look better than the graphics above, the digitization (rough edges) will be removed and smoothed out, just use it as a close sample.

If you have other logo color combinations in mind let me know the substitutions. ie. sub red for green, sub purple for blue, etc.

If this goes over, the other cool thing they said is that once a logo is setup they can do other clothes without a setup charge. If you want jean jackets etc. that will also be available after the shirt deal is done.

Thanks guys, the more input the better. I will also need 100% of the order money before I order the shirts, if I order a 30-50 shirt run I don't want to get stuck with a $1500 dollar cost if no one buys.

If we vote to go with T-shirts and silkscreen the cost could come down to $20-30 U.S. depending on volumes.

Like I said though, I would like to get a shirt that will last awhile. But I can understand cost issues as well.

Thanks for your interest,

Easyrider
