I have a ZX12R A2 in a kit car that's sounding real bad after loss of oil pressure. I'm looking for a replacement engine to go straight in the car with the existing electrics. My question is can I fit any newer versions of the engine or does it need to be an A2. There is a 2006 B6F on eBay but will it work? And, it would be nice to use the already cut down sump. Current engine number is ZXT20AE028696, current ECU number is 21175-1077. Thanks.

Why not use the A2 exhaust cam (because of cam sensor), and any other parts off the A2 that you need to hook up the harness to the B6? You may have to use the A2 stator and rotor also.
