Scott, sure you can & I intend to use the K&N recharger kit left over from my last K&N (that cleans & reoils the filter).
With your schedule I'd wait until you have 2 or 3 thousand miles on the bike before you take off the tank but then again I am not aware of your riding turf.

My bmc's have been in for about 6 month's.I also had a bunch of oil & cleaner left over from my other k&n's.
I have always cleaned the filters with the kn cleaner and reoiled with it.no problems of course except that cleaner kit is some expensive stuff for just oil and cleaner.
It is actually a MOTH!! It must have really had a determined go at getting in there in one peice! No one more surprised than me!
Just goes to show what size of crap that this killer engine can suck in when it is moving!!

Recently ive been have slipping issues at high speeds so I changed my pressure plates I at first put the pusher rod bearing on backwards I can't seem to get any pressure on my clutch when i squeeze the lever any help would be awesome
When I first get on the bike the clutch handle is really tight I have to turn the adjustment wheel at least 2 complete rotations to get any sort of free play in it, but while riding (within 45 minutes) I have to regularly adjust the wheel in stages all the way back to where it was to keep the...
