All models have twin filters. Ur best bet would be keep an eye out on ebay for a set. I belive [email protected] quit production for a while but may start again. Or you can go with the BMC filter.
Scott, sure you can & I intend to use the K&N recharger kit left over from my last K&N (that cleans & reoils the filter).
With your schedule I'd wait until you have 2 or 3 thousand miles on the bike before you take off the tank but then again I am not aware of your riding turf.
I like to look at my air filters every thousand miles & just shake the bugs & sand out. Thats Air Ram injection for you<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=""> .
That's what I figured, couldn't get any info from the BMC site. Sure looks like K+N pleats. I already have the K+N recharger kit as I run the RE-0880 in the truck. Thanks for the info <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/glasses.gif ALT="8)"> .

Hey Ted, It looks like you disgarded your chewing gum on the stock filters! <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/laugh.gif ALT=":lol"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/laugh.gif ALT=":lol"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/laugh.gif ALT=":lol">
My bmc's have been in for about 6 month's.I also had a bunch of oil & cleaner left over from my other k&n's.
I have always cleaned the filters with the kn cleaner and reoiled with it.no problems of course except that cleaner kit is some expensive stuff for just oil and cleaner.
LOLOL! Mark!
It is actually a MOTH!! It must have really had a determined go at getting in there in one peice! No one more surprised than me!
Just goes to show what size of crap that this killer engine can suck in when it is moving!!
Got any more miles on the Wang???
Regards
Ted
Hey Ted, I rode the Wang a wee bit Monday. It has less than 500 miles on it! Debi said, "I ain't riding until it gets cooler!" That means I ride it only to keep its battery charged.
