it's a handful in first and an even bigger handful with different gearing, but it does leave the line a lot easier with a different gear, I've got the 17/48 setup on mine and can keep it down in the first 3<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/eek.gif ALT=":eek">

Hay I'm new to the Terms 17/48?? is that the number of teeth in the front and rear? I'll catch up quick but for now a little slow. But if this help keep it down in the first 3, I'm interested in learning.

you got it, the stock gearing is 18/46. The first thing you should do if you want to be able to ride away at a stoplight smoother is put a 17 tooth on the front. If you're like me and like to have the front wheel in the air more than on the ground put a 48 on the back. WOOO HOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
