does anyone know without guessing if 2000 transmission is exactly the same as 2005 all gears/teeth# i need to buy a used trans and my bike is 2005 and all im finding is used 2000

But the major components are the same. They are interchangeable.

Just out of interest, how much are you looking for the undercut transmission?
Would you know approximate shipping costs to South Australia?
I may be looking for one, have an undercut gearbox at the moment, but 4th to 5th gear is starting to do miss shifts, and when on the race track it shows up most times now.

I have 1 I could ship you with billet low 1st gear $400.
Also have 4 speed and 6 speed auto but they are not for street riding

I'll keep that one in mind, I think the low 1st gear would help on the track for pick up out of tight corners!
