Yes but you need to buy a module from Dynojet for about $100 that will power up the PCIIIr in your house. I believe it would just be an 120AC to 12VDC adapter with some filtering perhaps. You need to take your PCIII/r off the bike though, which could be a pain.
I think you can also use a Palm Pilot for downloading software.

I hope that helps,

Easyrider

I believe I saw a device someone rigged up that can be built for a few dollars that will do the same thing as the special adapter. If I recall, it used a nine volt battery and a handful of other parts. You might try a search.

The consumer version of the power adapter is only $10 and requires a 9v battery.

Will 9v give a different reading than 12v when checking the TP? or does the PCIIIR need to be on the bike to adjust the TP?

I am not an Engineer but I would bet that the ONLY way to set the TP is to have the Power Commander attached to the bike. Due to the fact that you are adjusting to the actual position of the throttle..

You have to have the PCIII/r on the bike if you want to set TP.

Thanks Tearinitup for the tip on the $10 solution. That is great news, a number of people will benefit from this.
I didn't find it on Dynojet before, but I will post a link to this on ZX-12R.org

Thanks
