little to no power gain but lose it anyway, order the muzzy block offs before removing it, it looks a LOT better

I forgot, make sure you remove the cat from the stock header if you take off the Kleen. When you cap the T junction do it with a little plastic cap that fits nice and tight over it. When you do the airbox hole do it with an expansion plug or freeze plug, don't ghetto-rig it with a piece of wood duct tape, it looks a lot better

I used the original rubber grommet and taped one side and filled it with silicon. After 2 days it was dry, I then removed the tape and BAM, instant perfect fit plug.

I wish I had the block off plates, but it is buried so you can't see them.

Richard-
that's true too, I've talked to Dave a few times, he's a good guy, very helpful. I was bored and looking for something else to do one day so I took that thing off.
Alien-
there is two hoses coming off the top of the engine and a round thing they're connected to. Grab the big black thing and pull it out, if you don't have the block offs then connect the two elbow hoses together, block off the other hoses and airbox and like Emeril says,"BAM!!!"

no backfiring with the stock pipe, very very little with the aftermarket, nothing that can't be fixed with a PCIII

I'm missing something here.... I thought the general concensus a few months back was that leaving the KLEEN intact with an aftermarket pipe was a sure ticket to backfiring....???

</p>

I got a list of demands written on the palm of my hand...

I think you are right, Blitz, if you remove the Kleen air when you have an aftermarket pipe you should have less backfiring. A number of people have reduced their backfiring by removing the Kleen air. I can not offer a solid opinion because mine was removed at the same time as adding the pipe. However I did have a little bit of backfiring afterwards that was cleaned up with the PCIIIr.
