Flush mounts

Hey all looking at getting some flush mounts for my bike this winter and I like the looks of theses. plus I see they are on sell and we get a forum discount hard to beat that deal. I was just wondering if any one has these and if so do they like them. On the website it is kind of hard to tell if they are even for 12r or not. I might be looking at a different bike. Hope someone can help me out I seem to be having a brain fart today. Must be the dang snow. I hate Iowa

did you try calling sportbike effects? They should be able to
answer your question. Never seen those kind before. I have
mini-stalks with huge industries adapter plates to make it look
super clean. I tried at least 4 different fluch mounts until i got
this setup. I could never find flushmounts that fit perfect.
They were always overlapping at the front of the hole in the
fairing, the flushes would just not fit to my anal-specifications.
the one set that do fit perfect( were ugly and overpriced),
i cant remember the name of them, but they were cost
prohibitive. (and ugly)

good luck--if you want a perfect fit, do what i did. It will run you
less than 40 bucks. lockhart phillup makes the adapters too.

this is the only pic i have up loaded[/img]

Thanks for looking! Yes, they will work fine on the 12R. They are in stock and the forum discount applies. Just type "ZX12Forum" in the Coupon box on checkout. Phone calls accepted as well.

Thank you for the site compliment! Much appreciated.

Most of the flushmounts I carry are made by Mototeck in Canada. The units pictured in this thread are (I think??) made in Germany.

Those are the same kind I have. I like them a lot, Gregs look horrible to me. It's completely unfinished, just laying there inside the stock molded well, and that little bubble bulb sticking out, how ugly is that??? (nothing personal, I know some guys really like them)

The only thing that might concern some people about this type of flush mount is that you need to take a dremel and shave off that little nub thats at the front of the blinker well. For me that was no problem, I'm NEVER going back to the stock blinkers anyways, so nobody will see I shaved a little plastic off. Takes 5 minutes with a dremel sanding wheel, if that. bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzpppp. gone.

Here's a pic of my bike with the flushmounts, looks like they are 10 bucks cheaper from this guy then where I got them, and a forum discount too. about my luck  :P

those are nice, but i like the fact that i can always go back to
stock, no mods needed when using the adapter plates. It all
boils down to what makes you smile

I would really like to have a picture of your bike from the side showing the Flushmounts clearly. I am always looking for good pictures showing installed Mototeck products in the "Bike Photo" section of my Web site. Send me an email if you can do this to [email protected] .

For Kawasaki customers, I have a special installation help available here:

Here's some other pictures I took. When I took these I was looking at whether or not I'd like the lens turned the other way, I didnt and ended up putting it back to the way everyone else does. I could take some new one's with the lens in the proper direction.....

I should probably not post ones with the lens that way. If you have the chance, I would really appreciate it.

They are ordered and on there way, picked up some gage faces as well. Now all I have to do is sit back and wait for the mailman to deliver them. Man I hate that part. Next step get me the Arata Ti System. Come on tax refund. :)
