I'm interested in learning about the ECU.. What model is it and can you be so kind as to show some pictures.. How easy was it to get the OEM sensors to interface ? Stock dash or theirs? What was your main reason for making a swap to such an expensive ECU unless you have extensive engine work? Surely you were having issues getting the OEM unit to do something right? Have you seen any power increase from the Morelli ECU opposed to the stock unit? What type of ignition does it have? Stock stick coils or LS style coils? So many questions but I'll stop there.. I'm curious the cost of a Morelli ECU compared to a Motec which could run as much as 15 to 20 grand if you take advantage of the Data inputs offered. Are you gathering any data on your bike?

to be honest with you i was going to turbo my bike ,but after pricing all the parts to strengthen the engine to take more boost i realised i couldnt afford it all so i went for head work ,cams, flowing etc,all the sensors etc where done for me so i have little knowledge of how,the ECU belonged to a friend of mine who dragged a 12r,as i had it done all at the same time i could not say if the ecu alone gives it any power, but all i will say is that everything combined makes it as quick as my performance 14 but with it having ohlins rear shock re sprung to my weight and the front forks also it handles much better, there is a company in the uk called big cc racing who specialise in the sort of thing that you are asking ,they have an excellent website and the guys name is shaun, hope that helps a little bit

Lord everyone who's anyone in the world of fast motorcycles knows about BigCC and Sean Mills... He has no equal in the field or at least very few on the same page as him. NLR being one and the place up in Canada where Scott Davis works which I'm drawing a blank on the name for some reason. RCC is the place and Richard is the man there.. Of those three Big CC and RCC both make kits per say. NLR has never offered a kit that I know of. Each build is a contracted one off build. He makes his money selling the best boost controller on earth and progressive NOS controller. The one thing they all have in common is the largest percentage of their builds are Busa builds. Big CC does stick their neck out the most to build the Fastest 12R turbo on earth at this point, but Scott is closing that gap quickly. If Scott had the resources to fund his ideas without doubt he has shown the ability and determination to be the fastest. Perhaps a few of us Kawasaki loyalist can pull our money and fabricating skills and abilities to help Scott to the next level. When you look at what he has done and what he has done it with compared to the HUGE MONEY bikes of his competition it's impressive

I notice a lot of you guys in the UK have the stock undertail on your bikes, are undertail kits just not a popular mod over there? Over here I never see a stock mudguard/under-tail on a sportbike, usually is first thing to go with the stock exhaust. Just my curiosity asking?

Last I recall is that law is being removed, at least federally, though each state has the option to implement or interpret as they deem fit and may lag behind the federal view!

Check online for local transport departments rules etc.

Put new wheel bearings in the rear, wave rotor (about 0.5kg lighter than stock) with Ti bolts and 48T Driven sprocket with Ti nuts.

Oh also new Hex muffler

Some random guy on a Perth bike forum sold it to me cheap. He thought it was the complete slip on kit when he ordered it, but it was muffler only. I had to order the clamp though through ebay. For 06 GSXR1000
