The undertail is sweet. The "snout" is OK. You may have lost

some ponies on that mod.

I thought "I recon" was a Tennessee word!

thanks for the comments and criticisms lads…me thinks I should have done a pole?

I too had reservations about the BEAK before I ordered it, however, now that it fitted, I love it, although I will concede that it might rob the bike of a few high horses at 150 +.

TENN12

On word…..pedant

MonkyhangerCDN

It’s a Powerbronze double bubble….anyhow, I didn’t think that you Hartlepool/Teesiders liked being called monkyhangers due to the story behind the name!

The little flush mount indicators came with the undertail.

The kit is quality stuff and FSD currently have a good deal on checkout their site at www.freestreetdesign.com

Try again!! a case of digital spascticity again, fingers like pigs tits more like! sorry! Love the under tray, cracking! The more I look at the snout, the more I begin to like it, I could warm to it with time. Looks like you've been busy? Was there a lot of work involved in fitting everything? what's next on the agenda?

Have you been pulled for the plate yet? I had one on my ZXR750R and got pulled all the damn time!

Ever get down this neck of the woods? Questions, Questions!

Regards

Ted

Thanks Ted

The snout was dead simple to fit, you just slide it over the existing snout then secure it using the two existing screws…took me 5 mins.

The undertray however was a bit a lot more time consuming, it took me about 4 hours (hey I’m a slow worker), as you Thanks Ted

The undertray however was a bit a lot more time consuming, it took me about 4 hours (hey I’m a slow worker), as you have to strip out all of the original undertray, then faff about with the ECU and alarm locations, and cut holes in your tail piece, for the winkers.

my next plan is to fit a PC3r and K&Ns, and maybe a yellow box.

Funny you should ask me about being hassled by the feds for my plate. I went for a blast around the Mendips today, and on the way back home to Bristol, I was tooling along the M32, doing about 90ish, when a bike cop came up behind me and proceeded to follow me for about 5 miles. So I was waiting for a pullover signal (illegal plate, pipe, Simpson helmet with black visor), but he just overtook me, ‘and get this’, he gave me a little wave!!! No, I wasn’t dreaming, it actually happened!

and no, i don't seem to get down to the Reading area much, i do most of my riding around Somerset, Devon and Wales.

have you seen one of these?

i'd be lost without it now...its a digital gear indicator.

Minger, I want it, I want it, I want it! Where did you get the digital gear indicator? How much and how hard to install? <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/smokin.gif ALT=":smokin">

I like both (tail and snout) very much! Losing a few ponies wouldn't bother me. I don't often have the need for the ram air to kick in - say "never."
