Hey, looking for a little advice as far as lowering my 12..

Never bothered with this on a bike before, so I don't really know jack *(^$ about it..

What's the best way to go about this? I've seen pretty cheap lowering links around and the install seems to be relatively easy?

Would I want to just drop the back, or am I going to want to slide the forks up on the front also?

What are the benefits and drawbacks of lowering a street bike?

Better launches, better aerodynamics?
How is the handling going to be effected?
I think it would look better lowered, too..

Any info would be appreciated!

I read somewhere that lowering the front in such a manner effects high speed handling? Is there truth to this statement?

I live a few miles from a drag strip.. I used to drag cars, but now I don't have one, so I'm gonna give dragging bikes a shot.. I'd like to build a drag worthy bike but still be able to do all my commuting, twisting, and highway riding without problems..

Man....there should be mod stickies in each bike forum. This must be covered under at least 50 topics that I've seen....

Should do a sticky each for Motor, Chassis, Suspension, Exhausts and Wheels.....

Or make the search box bigger....

Just bustin balls.....hehe:thumbup:
