No, not at all. I was just asking as I was unaware Kawi no longer supplied them or what Kawi was even charging for them for when they did. You done a great job with this.

Excellent, I was getting a little worried it had got lost in the post.

For Tech Questions Bike Model letters and Country are more useful than saying the year, for UK owners anyway, as registration year is not always the year of manufacturer model.

Hi alfadave11, if i squeeze the throttle it eventually coughs and takes off like a rocket. Iv put a new tps on (zx6 j1)and the bike is ticking over nicely. Had to do a bit of gentle adjustments to get it to tick over and rev ckeanly. Need to take it for a test ride.

ZX-12R Throttle Position Sensor, Inlet Air Pressure Sensor, and B3 onwards Subthrottle Sensor, wiring colors, just so you can work out which goes where. I got this information out of the workshop service manuals.

Wire colors to look out for.
Yellow+White = TPS output
Yellow+Blue = IAPS output
zx-12r B3+, Brown only, Subthrottle position Sensor.

TPS = Throttle Position Sensor
Y/W, Yellow White, output.
BL/W, Blue-White, power in.
BR/BK, Brown-Black, ground.

IAPS = Inlet Air Pressure Sensor
Y/B, Yellow-Blue, output.
BL/W, Blue-White power in.
BR/BK, Brown-Black, ground.

B3+ Subthrottle Sensor.
BR, Brown, output.
BL/W, Blue-White, power in.
BR/BK, Brown-Black, ground.

Let the bike warm up to about operating temperature and adjust the tps to 1.086. Worked for me, no problems since. Good luck
