I'm not saying that I have these parts in hand, and I am not saying that I don't...

But, I do. Awesome.

No. It is something Pierre has done that I am doing to my ZX12 and will tell you what you need to do!! It is No Plug and Play Kit because you can Buy everything yourself and have the 12 Gear welded to the 14 Basket just like you have with the Billet Basket. As you can see, he is very busy and so am I. It was only mentioned to stop anyone from doing anything drastic in the Near future and then be Pissed to know I had this in the works. Again I said it will be a while about early September before I install this on my bike and KNOW how it all goes myself.

I almost wish I had not said anything until After I had finished this. But Nothing makes me madder than to spend money on the Best and then find out Better was known but not by me. In September I will know how this works or know I cannot do it period. So Far, everything he has said works the way he said it will work.

I wish it always worked that way! The crazy thing is the People I Deal with here are either the Very Best or not good at all. I have people that it took Weeks to get me the Money through ZERO Fault of their own (between my Auto Correct changing account numbers and the Banks going by way of Antartica). Some have had problems and I have waited for a few months while they resolved them and Others that Paid Me WAAAAY Too Much, which perfectly off set the ones that I ended up paying bank Charges or sent the wrong amount.

Then we have the ones that ordered and then did Nothing!

So I ended up with "1" set of 00/03 Mixed, 04/06 Mixed and Short. So if anyone missed out, the only thing I do not have is a Set of 00/03 Short:) now to catch up with a little Personal business before my next project that some of you are waiting to hear about:):)

Wow!! Am I glad I figured out how to leave the "Enhanced Mobil View"!! I tried 3 times to post and lost all three.

Hopefully I can post on this Old Format that I like best! I am too Woooore out now to Post all that was lost, but I have been Horribly busy and next week on Wednesday I am Leaving in my van for a 3,000 mile round trip to Columbus OH and then to Rhode Island to pick up 2 Pristine KZ650's for BEAR and then come back with them and am getting a Park Police KZ1000 to restore I AMA SuperBike.

I took the time to Reconfigure my Shop so I can work on the 12. Tuesday I took a 12 Clutch Gear and Falicon 14 Basket to Falicon. They will have to Notch up the Gear about 3/16" on the 3 Rivet Holes so the 14 Basket will Align and maybe relieve the basket a little at the Bottom to Clear the clutch Shock Springs. I hoped to have it today but not yet. I also went to Tampa and picked up a complete 14 Clutch assembly for $130. If I get the basket back on Monday, I will see if I can get this finished before I leave. Also, as Far as I can tell, a Muzzy Basket will not work because it has a Larger OD which may cause clearance problems. More when I have it.

I just posted some more info and it all went to Hell?!

I am too old for this!!!#***!!##%%

It will be several more weeks (I posted this and saved this to make sure it is posted.

I spoke to the owner of Falicon today. The way Pierre did this was only to see if it could work. The owner stated that it would work like stock if the Center was the same as the 12. So when he gets his Next Batch of 14 Baskets in he will make one with a Center the same as the 12. Then I will set it up and if all is Perfect, I will send it to someone with a Running 12 to make sure.

THEN we can shoot for a Group Buy of 5 or more for these Baskets with a 12 Gear Mounted. So I will post again In about 3 weeks or sooner if the Basket is done. Also that will be when I start a New thread.

Someone just asked me was this set up for a ZX14 or ZX14R which has 6 springs on the Hub and pressure plate?

To make this conversion I used an 06/07 Clutch assembly. I know that there have been several changes on the 14 most since 2011 with even Falicon having to deal with clearance issues on some of the latest 14's. My first issue is getting a Clutch Basket to fit on the Ring Gear and then to Fit inside the 12's Cover! Once that is achieved, then to put in the Clutch Pack and see what stack Height will be needed and then to make it all Work. Once that is done, If the R Hub and Hat will work within this assembly so much the Better!

Originally I had not Planned to try this until late next year when I finally had time to fix all of my issues with my Land Speed Bike. But I opened my Huge Mouth.

To bypass the enhanced view, hit your bookmark, then exit the view, then rebookmark the site after exiting the enhanced view. It might ask if you are sure you want to overwrite your existing bookmark, and hit yep and then when you hit your bookmark, it will be the old web-based view instead of that enhanced garbage.
