Bye Zx12! Going to the dark side.

Finally decided to sell the Z, had it I since 2004 and it has been an awesome bike, but old bike syndrome has been getting worse over the years. Decided to buy a Busa too! Got a new Busa Z in blue with the Yoshi cans so it looks better than most of the Busas I've seen, got it coming next Thursday. Only 6 more sleeps....

So you change your ZX12 because you have an old bike syndrome but you buy a Busa that looks the same since it was released back in 1999. Oh boy!

O well, at least your staying on two wheels.
If you can stand a bit of ribbing, come up to Talgarth 2nd or 3rd June at the Honeypot café & meet up with us all.
Good luck & tell us what you think the difference is between the 12 & the 13.

Just what we were all thinking.

For Tech Questions Bike Model letters and Country are more useful than saying the year, for UK owners anyway, as registration year is not always the year of manufacturer model.

Oh Boy, go for it and feed that Busa itch....I did go to the dark side and what a one dimensional tabogan sled. I sold it within 3 months (busa easy to work on though), and I didn't feel special anymore because busa's every where!!!

Actually, now I've had it for a few weeks I realise it handles brilliantly!

In my defence, if Kawasaki were still making the Z I'd have bought it. I tried the zzr1400 but with me being so big I felt like a circus orangutang on it, it just felt tiny. Soon as I sat on the Busa, it just fitted. Might just see you there.

When I said old bike syndrome, I meant that it's just getting worn out, everything looks old, lugs broken etc. Nothing like a nice shiny new bike.
