Power loss 7500-8000 rpms

Hi guys,
I have noticed loss of power in these rpms and then goes up to 10,000 rpms without energy. Has mounted BMC air filters and a Yoshimura exhaust, but with the stock filters I noticed the same failure... Anyone with similar problem?
Thank you.

Hi KZ,
The motor is pushing with power till 7500-8000 rpms. Then loses power and is pushing till 10000 rpms like a motorbike with 100 HP.
The acceleration is great but at around that range turns like on-off whith power loss.
Sorry but maybe my english is not good enough to give you an idea of the failure. Sometimes I do not know if my words are expressing what I want to tell.

Thanks for your help.

Hi Mauser,
But only on that range? Why not that fault at medium range rpms if the fuel pump is not working properly?

Thank you.

The filter can be bought separately through Suzuki for a Hayabusa, whereas Kawasaki sell the whole assembly which costs a fair bit..

I don't think so, the filter in that year mod is inside the pump housing not like the A mods you need to research and cut out the filter and add new inline filter don't bother pulling it apart and flushing the filter out it won't work 1st picture is A mod filter pump you can see the filter on the top right easy to replace the picture on the right hand side is B mod's that long plastic housing at the back the filter is inside there and not a replaceable part Good luck

i agree, it sounds like a plugged filter. try taking the assembly apart and flushing the filter backwards to get the gunk out
