Feb 14th AM - A4 between Maidenhead and Slough, woman pulls out of her drive and into the side of me.

Injuries to the 12R
Shattered tank cover
Broken LHS foot peg hanger
Slight grazing to top fairing and tail piece (side fairing was removed the weekend before for cleaning/servicing)
Damaged LHS engine cover

Injuries to me
6 Broken ribs (4 with multiple fractures, 2 with displaced fractures) 3 days in hospital.
Damaged left knee.
A number of grazes
Slight whiplash from head hitting the tarmac.

To add insult to injury, 3 weeks later i suffered a heart attack, 3 stents fitted with another 2 to be fitted on the 14th May.
As i was only TPF&T (forgot to upgrade to fully comp at renewal) and the 3rd party has not yet admitted liability i have not been paid out on the 12R.
I had to buy another bike (2009 ZZR1400), further insult to injury, i cant use my NCB on the new bike and as i have a claim going through, it's treated as my fault, so basically starting from scratch.
New bike insurance 1850

So this stupid, blind women, who's car only suffered a broken front number plate, has cost me the following.
New bike - 5250
Insurance - 1850
New helmet - 700
New boots - 250
New jacket - 200
Lost earnings - A few thousand.

I will buy back the 12R and get it back on the road.
Bloody hell mate, sounds like you've been through it.

Today I finally got round to looking at my rear right indicator which I noticed had water on the inside after the ride down in the rain on the friday.
I shouldn't have left it so long as it was starting to rust up on the inside, I was surprised how much water was in there. Still, I stripped and cleaned it out and moved the earth wire to the top so if it happens again the earth wire won't be sat in the water. The others were ok.

For Tech Questions Bike Model letters and Country are more useful than saying the year, for UK owners anyway, as registration year is not always the year of manufacturer model.
